Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Zoological Parks and Gardens (Administration) Regulations 1992 to increase the charges payable for entry to the Sir Colin MacKenzie Zoological Park and to the Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 41 and 49 of the Zoological Parks and Gardens Act 1995. 3. Charges for entry to Board properties For Schedule 1 of the Zoological Parks and Gardens (Administration) Regulations 1992 1 substitute— 'SCHEDULE 1 ENTRY CHARGES FOR SIR COLIN MACKENZIE ZOOLOGICAL PARK AND ROYAL MELBOURNE ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS Item Visitor Category Sir Colin MacKenzie Zoological Park Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens 1 Adult (16 years of age or more) $14.50 $14.50 2 Child (under 16 years of age) $7.20 $7.20 3 Physically or intellectually disabled child under 16 years of age $3.50 $3.50 4 Person on official group visit from a pre-school, primary school or secondary school $7.20 $7.20 5 Full time student (other than a person referred to in item 4) on presentation of proof of full time enrolment in secondary school or post secondary educational institution $10.80 $10.80 6 Pensioner on presentation of a current pensioner or Health care card issued by the Australian Government $10.80 $10.80 7 Holder of a Senior Savings card issued by the Victorian Government $10.80 $10.80 8 Family (2 adults and up to 4 children aged under 16 years of age) $39.30 $39.30 r. 4 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R.
