No. 38/1998 Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1992 Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 7 April 1998 Responsible Minister: PATRICK McNAMARA Minister for Agriculture and Resources SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to exempt persons accredited under certain quality assurance programs from the requirement to keep records about the use of agricultural chemical products. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 27 and 76 of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1992. 3. Records After regulation 6(2) of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 1996 1 insert— "(3) Sub-regulation (1) does not apply to a person accredited under a quality assurance program providing for the use of agricultural chemical products that is approved by the chief administrator and notified in the Government Gazette.". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
