No. 64/1998 Audit Act 1994 Audit (Public Bodies) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 23 June 1998 Responsible Minister: ROGER M. Objectives The objectives of these Regulations are to prescribe a body and to omit a body for the purposes of the definition of "public body" in section 3 of the Audit Act 1994. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 3 and 21 of the Audit Act 1994. 3. Commencement (1) These Regulations (except regulation 6) come into operation on 30 June 1998. Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Audit (Public Bodies) Regulations 1995 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 5. Body inserted in Schedule At the end of the Schedule to the Principal Regulations insert "Victorian Power Exchange Pty Ltd A.C.N. 080 200 371". 6. Body omitted from Schedule In the Schedule to the Principal Regulations omit "Local Authorities Superannuation Board". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
