No. 26/1998 Gaming No. 2 Act 1997 Gaming No. 2 (Fees) Regulations 1998 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 March 1998 Responsible Minister: ROGER M. HALLAM Minister for Gaming CON CHARA Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe fees payable under the Gaming No. 2 Act 1997. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 6(2), 14(2)(e), 28(2)(c), 34(2), 40(3), 53(1)(a), 59(2)(a), 60(4)(b), 63(2), 90(4) and 105 of the Gaming No. 2 Act 1997. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 31 March 1998. 4. Definition In these Regulations, "Act" means Gaming No. 2 Act 1997. 5. Calcutta Sweepstakes -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 26/1998 Gaming No. 2 (Fees) Regulations 1998 2 The prescribed fee under section 6(2) of the Act for an application for approval to conduct Calcutta Sweepstakes is $100. 6. Minor gaming permit The prescribed fee under section 14(2)(e) of the Act for an application for a minor gaming permit is $35. 7. Trade promotion lottery permit The prescribed fee under section 28(2)(c) of the Act for an application for a permit to conduct a lottery for the promotion of a trade or business is $100. 8. Bingo centre operators and employees (1) The prescribed fee under section 34(2) of the Act for an application for an operator's licence is $400. (2) The prescribed fee under section 40(3) of the Act for renewal of an operator's licence is $400. (3) The prescribed fee under section 53(1)(a) of the Act for an application for an employee's licence is $115. (4) The prescribed fee under section 59(2)(a) of the Act for an application for an employee's licence by the holder of a special employee's licence issued under the Casino Control Act 1991 or by the holder of a special employee's licence or a technician's licence issued under the Gaming Machine Control Act 1991 is $50. (5) The prescribed fee under section 60(4)(b) of the Act for an application for replacement identification is $10.
