Podiatrists Registration Regulations 1998
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are to
prescribe—
(a) the form of application for registration as a
podiatrist under the Podiatrists
Registration Act 1997;
(b) the particulars to be included in the register
and certificates of registration under that
Act.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 4, 16,
17 and 88 of the Podiatrists Registration
Act 1997.
3. Definition
In these Regulations, "the Act" means the
Podiatrists Registration Act 1997.

4. Form of application for registration
For the purposes of section 4(2)(a) of the Act, the
prescribed form of application for registration is
that set out in the Schedule.
5. The register
For the purposes of section 16(3)(d) of the Act,
the following information is the prescribed
information to be included in the register—
(a) the address of the registered podiatrist;
(b) his or her professional qualifications;
(c) the date of his or her initial registration;
(d) his or her registration number;
(e) whether the registration is general or
specific;
(f) details of any cancellation of registration.
6. Certificate of registration
For the purposes of section 17(2)(c) of the Act,
the following information is the prescribed
information to be included on a certificate of
registration—
(a) the name of the person registered;
(b) the date the certificate was issued;
(c) whether the registration is general or
specific.
