No. 40/1998 Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) Act 1995 Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) (Licence Fees) Regulations 1998 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 7 April 1998 Responsible Minister: ROGER M. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe fees for applications for the grant or renewal of bulk vehicle licences. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 9A of the Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) Act 1995. 3. Applications fee for a bulk vehicle licences Subject to regulation 4, the prescribed fee accompanying an application made under the applied provisions 1 for the grant or renewal of a bulk vehicle licence is— (a) in the case of an application for the grant or renewal of a licence for one vehicle, $225; -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 40/1998 Road Transport (Dangerous Goods) (Licence Fees) Regulations 1998 2 (b) in the case of an application for the grant or a renewal of a licence that is for a single licence for more than one vehicle, $225 for the first vehicle and $30 for each additional vehicle specified in the application. 4. Application fees for licences where applicant already holds a bulk vehicle licence (1) If a person who holds one or more bulk vehicle licences applies for the grant of an additional bulk vehicle licence, the prescribed fee that is to accompany that application is $30 for each vehicle specified in the application. (2) If a person who holds 2 or more bulk vehicle licences applies for the renewal of any of those licences— (a) the prescribed fee that is to accompany the application for the renewal of the first bulk vehicle licence granted to that person is the relevant fee prescribed in regulation 3; and (b) the prescribed fee that is to accompany the application for the renewal of each other bulk vehicle licence granted to that person, in addition to the bulk vehicle licence referred to in paragraph (a), is $30 for every vehicle specified in the application. (3) For the purposes of sub-regulation (2), if a person holds 2 or more bulk vehicle licences which had been granted to him or her on the same day and those licences do not indicate which was granted first, the person may nominate any one of them as the licence for the renewal of which the prescribed fee in sub-regulation (2)(a) is to accompany. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
