No. 97/1998 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Occupational Health and Safety (Manual Handling) Regulations 1988 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1998 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Finance, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 28 July 1998 Responsible Minister: ROGER M. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Occupational Health and Safety (Manual Handling) Regulations 19881 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Occupational Health and Safety (Manual Handling) Regulations 1988 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 97/1998 Subordinate Legislation (Occupational Health and Safety (Manual Handling) Regulations 1988 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1998 2 of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 1 July 1999. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
