No. 27/1997 Casino Control Act 1991 Casino Control (Boundary Redefinition Fee) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 8 April 1997 Responsible Minister: ROGER HALLAM Minister for Gaming SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the fee to accompany an application for the redefinition of the boundaries of a casino. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 17 and 167 of the Casino Control Act 1991. 3. Fee on application for redefinition of casino boundaries (1) For the purposes of section 17(3) of the Casino Control Act 1991, the fee to accompany an application for the redefining of the boundaries of a casino is— (a) $2700 if the proposed redefinition will not require a change either to the situation within the casino of gaming equipment or to the -- 2 of 3 -- S.R. No. 27/1997 Casino Control (Boundary Redefinition Fee) Regulations 1997 2 manner in which operations are conducted in the casino; or (b) $6300 in any other case. (2) The question of whether the proposed redefinition will require a change to the situation within the casino of gaming equipment or to the manner in which operations are conducted in the casino is to be determined by the Director.
