No. 28/1997 Dentists Acts 1972 Dentists (Qualifications) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Dental Board of Victoria, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 8 April 1997 Responsible Minister: ROB KNOWLES Minister for Health SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the Certificate in Dentistry issued by the Australian Dental Council as a recognised qualification for the purposes of registration as a dentist and to correct errors in the current list of prescribed qualifications. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 9 and 17 of the Dentists Act 1972. 3. Prescribed qualifications amended In Schedule 4 to the Dentists Regulations 19921 for— -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
