No. 53/1997 Fisheries Act 1968 Fisheries (Abalone) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 June 1997 Responsible Minister: PATRICK McNAMARA Minister for Agriculture and Resources SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Fisheries (Abalone) Regulations 1996 to correct 2 minor errors and clarify the intention of the Regulations. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 81 of the Fisheries Act 1968. 3. Principal Regulations In these Regulations the Fisheries (Abalone) Regulations 1996 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 4. Amendment to regulation 18A In regulation 18A(1) of the Principal Regulations, omit "processor's". -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 53/1997 Fisheries (Abalone) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1997 2 5. Amendment to Schedule 4 In Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations, for Table 1 substitute— "Table 1 Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 A total of 5 kilograms of abalone, but not exceeding the individual limit specified in column 2 in respect of abalone in the form specified in column 2 1 kilogram Dried abalone ". ═══════════════ r. 5 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
