No. 107/1997 Freedom of Information Act 1982 Freedom of Information (Exempt Offices) (Interim) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 21 October 1997 Responsible Minister: JAN WADE Attorney-General SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe certain offices for the purposes of section 5(3)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 1982. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5(3)(a) and 66 of the Freedom of Information Act 1982. 3. Exempt offices For the purposes of section 5(3)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 the following offices are prescribed offices— (a) the office of Auditor-General; (b) the office of Director of Public Prosecutions; (c) the office of Legal Ombudsman; -- 2 of 3 -- S.R. No. 107/1997 Freedom of Information (Exempt Offices) (Interim) Regulations 1997 2 (d) the office of Ombudsman; (e) the office of Public Advocate; (f) the office of Solicitor-General. 4.
