No. 145/1997 Land Tax Act 1958 Land Tax (Equalisation Factors) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 2 December 1997 Responsible Minister: ALAN R. STOCKDALE Treasurer S. VILLELLA Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe equalisation factors for determining the unimproved value of land for the purpose of assessing land tax (for the year commencing 1 January 1998). 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 3 and 93 of the Land Tax Act 1958. 3. Equalisation factors for 1998 The factor in Column 3 of an item in Schedule 1 is the equalisation factor determined by the Valuer- General in accordance with section 3(5) of the Land Tax Act 1958 that applies for the year 1998 in respect of land within the area described in Column 2 of that item in Schedule 1. -- 2 of 5 -- S.R.
