No. 108/1997 Lotteries Gaming and Betting Act 1966 Lotteries Gaming and Betting (Amusement Machines) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 21 October 1997 Responsible Minister: ROGER M. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Lotteries Gaming and Betting (Amusement Machines) Regulations 19881 to extend the expiry date for an operator's licence. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 10C and 10U of the Lotteries Gaming and Betting Act 1966. 3. Extension of operator's licence After regulation 8(3) of the Lotteries Gaming and Betting (Amusement Machines) Regulations 1988 insert— -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 108/1997 Lotteries Gaming and Betting (Amusement Machines) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 2 "(4) Despite sub-regulation (3), an operator's licence which would have expired on 31 October 1997 expires on 30 March 1998.". ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
