(Exemption) Regulations 1997
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to exempt
Savers Australia, Inc. from the application of
certain provisions of the Second-Hand Dealers
and Pawnbrokers Act 1989.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 4 and
31 of the Second-Hand Dealers and
Pawnbrokers Act 1989.
3. Exemption
Savers Australia, Inc., A.R.B.N. 075 452 185 is
exempted from the following provisions of the
Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act
1989—
