No. 90/1997 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Intellectually Disabled Persons' Services Regulations 1987 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Youth and Community Services, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 2 September 1997 Responsible Minister: DENIS NAPTHINE Minister for Youth and Community Services SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Intellectually Disabled Persons' Services Regulations 1987 1 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Intellectually Disabled Persons' Services Regulations 1987 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 90/1997 Subordinate Legislation (Intellectually Disabled Persons' Services Regulations 1987 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1997 2 would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 7 September 1998. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
