No. 169/1997 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Road Safety (Procedures) Regulations 1988 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Roads and Ports, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 16 December 1997 Responsible Minister: GEOFF CRAIGE Minister for Roads and Ports SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Road Safety (Procedures) Regulations 1988 1 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Road Safety (Procedures) Regulations 1988 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
