No. 49/1997 Tobacco Act 1987 Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 1997 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 11 June 1997 Responsible Minister: ROB KNOWLES Minister for Health SHARNE BRYAN Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to provide for the appointment of members of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 21 and 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987. 3. Revocation The Regulations listed in the Schedule are revoked. 4. Appointment of members of Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (1) Professor John Watson Funder, a person with expertise in health and illness prevention, is -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. No. 49/1997 Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 1997 2 appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 17 March 2000. (2) Professor Robert Burton, a person with expertise in health and illness prevention chosen by the Minister from a panel of three names submitted by the Anti-Cancer Council, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 10 June 2000. (3) Professor Helen Herrman, a person with expertise in health and illness prevention, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 10 June 2000. (4) Ronald Patrick Casey, a person with expertise in sport or sports administration, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 27 December 1997. (5) Gerard Healy, a person with expertise in sport or sports administration, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 10 June 2000. (6) Lachlan Tighe, a person with expertise in sport or sports administration chosen by the Minister from a panel of three names submitted by the Sports Federation of Victoria, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 10 June 2000. (7) Maxine Crouch, a person with expertise in sports and sports administration nominated by the Minister as representing country sport, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 10 June 2000. (8) Elaine Canty, a person with expertise in business, management, communications or law, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 10 June 2000. r. 4 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R. (10) Sue Nattrass, a person with expertise in the arts or arts administration, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 27 December 1997.
