No. 78/1996 Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987 Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 6 August 1996 Responsible Minister: MARIE TEHAN Minister for Conservation and Land Management A. Objectives The objectives of these Regulations are to— (a) prescribe further offences in relation to which infringement notices may be issued; and (b) make minor amendments to the authorising provisions in the Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) Regulations 19921 . 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 91 and 99 of the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987. -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. No. 78/1996 Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 2 3. Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) Regulations 19922 are called the Principal Regulations. 4. Amendment to authorising provisions In regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations, for "93(4)" substitute "93(3)". 5. Amendments to Schedule of offences (1) After item 4126 in the Schedule to the Principal Regulations, insert— "4127 An offence under regulation 6(2) of the Fisheries (Abalone) Regulations 1996 $80 take more than 10 abalone on any one day 4128 An offence under regulation 6(3) of the Fisheries (Abalone) Regulations 1996 $80 take more than 2 greenlip abalone on any one day 4129 An offence under regulation 7(2) of the Fisheries (Abalone) Regulations 1996 $80 possess abalone in excess of the bag limit specified in regulation 7(1)". r. 3 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R. No. 78/1996 Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 3 (2) After item 4267 in the Schedule to the Principal Regulations, insert— "4268 An offence under section 32N(5) of the National Parks Act 1975 $100 fail to comply with a notice prohibiting, regulating or controlling access to that part of a designated water supply catchment area specified in the notice". ═══════════════ r. 5 -- 4 of 5 -- S.R.
