Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe certain bodies to nominate persons for membership of the Advisory Committee established by section 86AC of the Credit (Administration) Act 1984. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 86AC and 95 of the Credit (Administration) Act 1984. 3. Prescribed bodies (1) The following bodies are prescribed for the purposes of section 86AC(1)(b) of the Credit (Administration) Act 1984— (a) Australian Bankers' Association; -- 2 of 3 -- S.R. No. 114/1996 Credit (Administration) (Committee) Regulations 1996 2 (b) Credit Union Services Corporation (Australia) Limited; (c) Australian Finance Conference Ltd, ACN 000 493 907; (d) Australian Friendly Societies Association Incorporated, ARBN 067 828 513. (2) The following bodies are prescribed for the purposes of section 86AC(1)(c) of the Credit (Administration) Act 1984— (a) Consumers' Federation of Australia Incorporated; (b) Australian Consumers' Association, ACN 000 281 925; (c) Australian Financial Counselling and Credit Reform Association Incorporated, ARBN 073 167 361; (d) Consumer Credit Legal Service Inc. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 3 --
