No. 13/1996 Estate Agents Act 1980 Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 1996 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 27 February 1996 Responsible Minister: JAN WADE Minister for Fair Trading KATHY WILSON Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe fees provided for in the Estate Agents Act 1980. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 99 of the Estate Agents Act 1980. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 April 1996. 4. Payment of fees (1) The fees set out in items (a) to (l) in the Schedule must be paid to the Estate Agents Licensing Authority. (2) The fees set out in items (m) and (n) in the Schedule must be paid to the Estate Agents Disciplinary and Licensing Appeals Tribunal. __________________ r. 5 -- 3 of 6 -- S.R.
