Objective The objective of these Regulations is to make a minor amendment to the Magistrates' Court (Fees, Costs and Charges) Regulations 1990 1 . 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under section 140 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989. 3. Amendment of table of fees In the table in regulation 8 of the Magistrates' Court (Fees, Costs and Charges) Regulations 1990, in item 28(a), for "debt or liquidated demand" substitute "debt, liquidated demand or -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 35/1996 Magistrates' Court (Fees, Costs and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 2 claim arising from a motor vehicle collision for cost of repairs only or for total loss of vehicle only". ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
