No. 133/1996 Supreme Court Act 1986 Supreme Court (Sheriff's Fees) Regulations 1996 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 26 November 1996 Responsible Minister: JAN WADE Attorney-General A. WILTSHIRE Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe fees for certain things done by the Sheriff in or in relation to the execution of any warrant or other process. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 129 of the Supreme Court Act 1986. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 December 1996. 4. Revocation The Supreme Court (Sheriff's Fees No. 2) Regulations 1986 1 are revoked. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 133/1996 Supreme Court (Sheriff's Fees) Regulations 1996 2 5. Fees The fees payable for work performed by the Sheriff are as set out in the following Table: TABLE No. Item Amount 1. (a) For execution or attempted execution of every warrant or writ or other process (except for a warrant of possession, writ of possession or a combined warrant) $137.50 1. (b) For execution or attempted execution of every warrant of possession or writ of possession, for the first two attempts $173.00 1. (c) For execution or attempted execution of every warrant of possession or writ of possession, after the first two attempts, for each 2 further attempts $150.00 1. (d) For execution or attempted execution of every combined warrant $217.50 1. (e) For every warrant of possession or combined warrant where execution is requested to be achieved soley by means of the Registrar of Titles or the Registrar-General recording an interest in land. $85.00 2. Where a warrant, writ or other process for which a fee is payable under item 1 specifies more than one address at which execution is requested, for each additional address specified $60.00 3. On the renewal of, or redirection of any warrant, writ or other process or the receipt of instructions to proceed with execution after the party at whose request the warrant was issued has earlier provided instructions to withhold or withdraw from execution $60.00 4.
