Victoria -- 2 of 4 -- Parliamentary Committees Amendment Act 2011 No. 7 of 2011 2 Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel 3 Amendment of section 21—Membership of Joint Investigatory Committees For section 21(1) of the Parliamentary Committees Act 2003 substitute— "(1) A Joint Investigatory Committee must consist of not less than 5 members and not more than 10 members of whom— (a) at least 1 must be a member of the Legislative Assembly; and (b) at least 1 must be a member of the Legislative Council.". 4 Amendment of section 23—Quorum Section 23(2) of the Parliamentary Committees Act 2003 is repealed. 5 Repeal of Amending Act This Act is repealed on the first anniversary of its commencement. Note The repeal of this Act does not affect the continuing operation of the amendments made by it (see section 15(1) of the Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984). ═══════════════ s. 3 See: Act No. 110/2003.
