Requirement: Action in accordance with Airbus Industrie Service Bulletins A320-24-1022 (mod 21052) and A320-24-1035 (mod 21736). Note: DGAC AD 89-198-004(B) refers. Compliance: Prior to 17 December 1990. Background: Airbus Industrie have advised that the modifications contained in the referenced Service Bulletins are necessary to improve the lightning protection of the GCU in order to prevent malfunction.
