COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998) , PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES Airbus Industrie A319, A320 and A321 Series Aeroplanes AD/A320/85 Probe Heat Computer 12/97 Applicability: All Airbus Industrie A320 models not having Airbus Industrie modification No. 26403 or Airbus Industrie Service Bulletin A320-30-1036 Revision 1 dated 7 July 1997 incorporated. Requirement: Unless previously incorporated, modify the wiring between engine interface units one and two with probe heat computer one and three in accordance with Airbus Industrie Service Bulletin A320-30-1036. Note: DGAC AD 97-203-102(B) refers. Compliance: Prior to 22 May 1998. This airworthiness directive becomes effective on 6 November 1997. Background: This AD is intended to prevent a simultaneous loss of heating of probes (CAPT and STBY side) due to a single failure, which will induce erroneous anemometric calculations by the concerned systems whilst operating in freezing conditions.
